- to ensure best in class and cost efficient marine and aviation solutions to projects in the Offshore wind business Job ID: 191188 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: full time For the Marine Operation department within our Project Management Offshore organization based in Vejle, Denmark, we are looking for a Commercial Head to lead our marine and aviation activities worldwide and thus ensure cost-competitive vessel and aviation solutions. What are my responsibilities? As Commercial Head of Marine Operation, you will head a team of two business controllers and you will be responsible for providing the vessel and aviation related cost calculation input for offshore project calculations as well as ensuring efficient and cost-competitive tendering for vessel and aviation scope. More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover: • The daily management of the department • Develop in cooperation with procurement and technical expert strategic procurement plans and strategies for vessel and aviation solutions • Ensure efficient and transparent tender process for vessel and aviation solutions in close cooperation with procurement • Develop standard charter parties in close cooperation with procurement and legal department • Prepare and analyse business cases for different vessel and aviation solutions • Ensure development and maintenance of calculation principles and assumptions • Ensure regular update of vessel and aviation related budgets of Offshore projects in cooperation with project core team members What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a strong background with a minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in commercial area in the maritime or offshore business. You have a deep insight and experience in the area of cost transparency, business case calculation and tendering. Furthermore, you have advanced project as well as contract management skills and you have gained first experiences in leading international teams. As a person, you are analytical, decisive and result-oriented with noticeable intercultural, networking and team building skills. Finally, you are a good negotiator and you possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing.
