The Consumer Insights Specialist Outdoor/Golf, executes, analyzes, and supports socialization of consumer insight projects that address business needs across the organization within the ECCO Design Lab and specific related project teams. He/she facilitates the use of quantitative and qualitative consumer research across the organization and act as business partner to ensure insights is represented in all collection and business decisions. Job Profile: •Developing, executing, analyzing, and supporting the socialization of consumer research projects to address business needs. •Developing actionable recommendations from research and communicating findings and implications to management. •Managing outside agencies and vendors to execute consumer research ensuring they meet the ECCO research standards, time, and budget parameters. •Aligning skills and capabilities of external partners/vendors to drive actionable consumer insight and decision making with moderate assistance from the Leader Consumer Insights. •Consulting with the ECCO regions and markets to identify business issues and opportunities where research might be leveraged. Develop partnerships across the business to increase the impact of consumer insights. •Work with and analyze Insights on Fashion and/or Sport Trends within the Consumer insight team, •Analyze consumer behavior and generate consumer feedback by Focus group analysis, observational studies and other appropriate methodology, •Create and interpret ECCO regional and market insights on collection needs, market and consumer insights on collection development, •Conduct product and collection testing in real life tests and simulated tests, •Work with sell-in and sell-through data analysis on collection to help build collection gap analyses and evaluate external reports like ERIS data, NPD data etc. •Initiate, support and deploy best practice research toolbox as part of the Consumer & Market Insight team. Qualifications and Work Experience: •Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Psychology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, or Psychology preferred. MBA a plus. •Progressive experience in consumer research/consumer insights, ideally with 3 years or more work experience within a Consumer Goods company, research agency or similar. •PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. •Practical Information We offer: A very interesting and challenging new and key position within a very dynamic atmosphere.
