Job ID: 146643 Location: Brande Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power Mode of employment: full time The Siemens Energy Service Division is looking for a competent Contract Manager to support the Service Renewable business of Siemens Wind Power A/S. This is a position within the Legal Department that provides support to Siemens Energy, Service Division, Renewable Service on a variety of legal matters arising in connection with domestic and international purchasing agreements and sales contracts. What are my responsibilities? As a contract manager you will work closely with management and contribute to the success of the business by providing practical legal and business advice. Your main assignments will among others cover: · Contract review, revising contract terms and conditions for domestic and international service related sales and purchase agreements · Legal advice, development and application of risk mitigation strategies, incl. training business partners on contractual terms and risk management strategies · Day to day contractual support to the business partners in the purchasing department and sales organization · Support of business partners in customer and supplier negotiations · Implement limitation of authority process as applicable to purchasing and sales activities · Coordination of legal advice with other internal departments, including Insurance, Tax, Intellectual Property, Engineering, Finance (as relevant) to ensure proper risk mitigation and inclusion of appropriate contractual terms. · Contribute to the improvement, adaption and controlling of risk management · Support during execution phase of purchasing agreements and sales contracts by providing legal support, including proactively preventing claims and supporting on defending and pursuing claims The position is based in Brande, Denmark but some domestic as well as international travel must be expected What do I need to qualify for this job? · Bachelor’s and/or advanced legal degree with excellent academic credentials, combined with formal training in business/ contract laws and proven experience in commercial transactions and claims management, including preparation and negotiation of contract terms and conditions as well as contract risk management. · Mastery of English to a negotiation level (written as well as verbal). In general accustomed to negotiation · Commercial acumen and able to interact with colleagues and management of all levels in a global organization. You have a sense of priority, are a team player but also possess the ability to work independently. · Well organized and detail oriented, even in a fast paced environment like ours In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
