The focus is on providing customers with a cost-effective, long-term solution for their service needs. For our Service Concept team based in Brande, we are looking for a Service Engineer with hands on technical experience to work across our platforms, but mainly assist on our direct-drive wind turbines. What are my responsibilities? To support the business being the market leader within the wind industry. Be the technical specialist for Service – primarily on our Direct Drive. Drive maintenance, continuous improvement and uniformity across platforms and concepts. Participate in design reviews and concept studies. To closely collaborate with Siemens Wind Power Technology and our Regional businesses to deliver state of the art solutions. Participate in field tests and ensure solutions are rolled out. Be integral to the development of technical documents and tools. What do I need to qualify for this job? Ideally you hold a Marine Engineering, M. Eng or B. Eng degree coupled with minimum 2-5 years of practical experience. You must be enthusiastic and keen to make your mark in a growing industry. Experience within the wind industry would be advantageous although not essential. You posses a drive to increase specialist knowledge and improve processes as well as a strong ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You are fluent in English – written and orally. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
