Data officer, Retail Banking Business Transformation

We are searching for a Data Officer responsible for ensuring Nordea Group data policies and frameworks are implemented within the Retail Banking (RB) business area and driving data quality improvements. You will be part of the Business Architecture team, who will develop and govern RB’s Business- and Information Architectures and data, and ensure it is properly interconnected and aligned to the Nordea Group information and data landscape. This is a great opportunity if you want to be part of the build-up and roll-out of the newly established Business Transformation organisation within the Retail Banking COO Area. The position we offer This role is responsible for the following: - Developing and enforcing data policies, principles and standards, including data quality in daily production and in development activities - Ensuring RB data management processes are compliant and implemented according to relevant regulations, internal policies and are cost efficient - Engage with RB business units and change initiatives, to ensure efficient and aligned usage of information and data - Identify data owners and implement data ownership within RB - Engage in defining RB specific data definitions and how the data may be used - Ensure RB is represented in data governance forums and that data council members actively contribute to establishment of Nordea Group data standards, processes and requirements for needed tool support - Identify and oversee implementation of initiatives to continuously improve data quality - Represent RB in the Nordea Group Data Management Committee to e.g. develop Nordea Group data management strategy, policies and standards You will report to the Head of Business Architecture, and work closely together with the RB information architect. The qualifications you need You are recognised as a high performer, acknowledged for your independent drive, result orientation, analytical mind-set and business intuition. You have strong experience in data governance or related field within the financial services industry and ability to translate that experience to assess current and future information and data requirements: - Experience in data management processes and best practises is an advantage - Experience in enterprise architecture layers (business, information, IT solutions) is an advantage - Experience in regulatory or legal requirements assessment and implementation is an advantage You possess strong interpersonal and management skills to drive change management. - You are great at networking and influencing and able to deal with people in all parts of the organisation and on different levels - You provide clear direction and make prompt decisions to drive actions through open communication and understanding of others. You are able to motivate and empower others as well as to provide coaching - You have strong analytical and conceptual skills to formulate and implement strategies in a complex environment - You have experiences in programme/project management and driving change - You take responsibility for your own learning and keep updated within own area of responsibility to secure continuous competence building and personal growth More information and send application The job is located in any of the four Nordic countries with some travel expected.
