We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Developer to become part of developing activities and daily operational routines in the Data Ware.

This is an opportunity for you to be a part of the small Data Warehouse team in WEB Development & Data Warehouse under Shared Services in Common Technology where we load IPC data (Incident, Problem and Change data) and CMDB data from BMC Remedy – soon to become data from BMC Helix (cloud based Software as a Service solution), and Foundation data and other data serving different customers.

What you’ll be doing:

Design, develop, test, implement and maintain data loads in the tool WhereScape
Maintain data loads in PL/SQL
Handle operational duties in a Data Warehouse based on Oracle database, PL/SQL and Wherescape – that is take action on failing jobs, performance issues etc.
Be able to answer general questions about the data reported on
Handle governance and administration concerning access to data etc.

The role is based in Copenhagen. We welcome you to a small team where you will have a lot of influence.

You have Data Warehouse experience
You have strong skills in data modelling in general and in dimensional modelling
You like analysing data and troubleshooting data problems
You have experience in a Data Warehouse ETL or Automation tool – preferably Wherecape which is the tool we are using
You have expert skills in Oracle SQL
You have experience in Oracle PL/SQL
You know what to look for when you have a slow performing SQL, users complaining about a slow report or maybe a slow database
You have good communication skills being able to navigate in a complex organisation where you are dependent on other people and teams and where Skype meetings are a natural thing
