We are looking for a bright mechanical engineer, alternatively production technologist, who can be a further enrichment of our Nacelle design team at our global technology head office in Brande. The Nacelle design team is responsible for 3D/2D conceptual and detailed modeling of the entire Nacelle, including main and secondary load carrying components, canopy and mechanical systems, for instance yaw and service crane. What are my responsibilities? As a Design engineer you will be working with 3D modeling and 2D detailing of the Nacelle in close cooperation with structural analysis engineers, Wind turbine service engineers, Health and Safety, Manufacturing, our project organization and Procurement. The development environment is very informal and it is a young, international organization where you will have a great say in your assignments. More specifically your work assignments will cover: · Advanced modeling in 3D, and 2D detailing of welded, bolted, cast and machined components in composites and metals · Participation in cross-organizational project execution · Case handling and optimization of components and systems · New Wind turbine project executions · Validation and verifcation of designs What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with CAD as well as documented experience with cast, machined & welded/non welded constructions. Knowledge of / experience with Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) will be considered a plus. As a person you are outgoing and proactive, and you possess the ability to work both independently and in teams. In addition, you are structured and innovative, and your approach to task solving is both technically sound and commercially viable. You have good communication and English skills both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
