For the EHS department in Service Wind Power we are looking for a new Team Lead for our EHS Technology team. The team is formed by experienced specialists and performs risk assessments and safety reviews of technical documentation, provides input from the service activities to the product development process owned by our Wind Power organization, supports in the technical investigation of incidents, and supervise the field operation in trial and testing of methods and retrofit roll-out. Siemens pursues a Zero Harm culture, and as a result we evaluate the design of our turbines in terms of EHS in order to predict and thereby prevent future accidents or incidents. As Team Lead of EHS Technology you will play a key role in this mission. What are my responsibilities? Your overall responsibility will be to manage the team in supporting our Service organization ensuring that all service tasks is evaluated in terms of risks. Specifically, your tasks will cover: Entering and managing the Service Level Agreement with Siemens Wind Power covering the Service EHS Tech. team’s tasks and involvement in the warranty work. Taking part in the development of the PDP interface between Service and Siemens Wind Power securing solid feedback loops from the field to the design phase as well as in the development of a process for formalizing collected data from a number of sources into an extensive feedback catalogue to be considered in the PDP. Coordinating the team’s involvement in the annual releases and performance of trials and test within Service as well as Siemens Wind Power. Coordinating and taking part in the team's review and risk assessment of methods and work instructions in terms of EHS requirements. Coordinating and taking part in the team's safe design and technical investigations to establish root cause and define mitigating measures. Supporting the development of a safety case process shared between Service and Siemens Wind Power. Taking part in the risk based assessment of technical training concepts. Obtaining the role as Siemens Product Safety Officer Level 4 and represent Service in the Product Safety Committee as well as representing Service in the Technical Safety Committee. Preparing and presenting technical business cases and concepts relating to safety to Senior Management. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a technical background and +5 years of experience in using your competencies in the field of environmental health and safety from a technical point of view. Experience from the wind industry will be deemed desirable but is not a prerequisite. Your past experience may also come from similar industries (like oil & gas, the shipping industry or the like). You are analytical in your approach towards a problem and able to assess the impact of it in terms of likeliness, potential harm etc. You are familiar with the use of Excel, Office and other commonly used IT applications and you are a quick learner with the interest and ability to familiarize yourself with new applications. You are fluent in English, written and spoken, and capable of cooperating at all levels of the organization and across different cultures. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
