Testers and Test Managers at Systematic are part of ensuring that we maintain a very high quality level in the development of our products and solutions for our customers – and are very much a part of making a difference in terms of Systematic’s success and for the users of our mission-critical software. Today, testing is an integrated part of our development process, and we are leading the way within software testing. Systematic’s approach to solution and quality assurance has been established with the aim of ensuring that the developed solution is not only in accordance with the demands, but also in accordance with the expected business and user value. The job We need new and skilled talents for our business unit, Public & Private. You will participate in both the planning as well as practical implementation of test-related tasks. You understand the technology and can see correlations in the challenges that occur, and you will be part of implementing the necessary improvements. An extensive test technical foundation is required along with motivation for software testing and, preferably, test management. We work in an agile environment, which also places certain demands on your approach to your work. Your tasks will be solved through the entire development process in collaboration with the development team you are a part of. Your tasks will also involve sparring with and inspiring our skilled developers throughout the development process. As a tester, you will: Work in Scrum teams with developers Design manual and automatic tests Contribute with testing competencies during the development process Participate in risk assessments Draw up test documentation Participate in the planning and implementation of systems testing Carry out testing activities Depending on your profile, you will initially or concurrently with the development of your test management competencies be responsible for all test-related activities, plans and reports. As a Test Manager, you will: Devise test strategies, test plans and reports Be in charge of risk assessments of the solution, including requirements as well as needs in relation to the expected business and user value Be responsible for execution of internal systems and acceptance tests along with acceptance tests at the customer Coordinate the tests with internal and external stakeholders, including the customer Ongoing reports of the status of testing to the project management and customer If you do not have any test management competencies, we are ready to support the development of your talents and thereby build on the experience and test knowledge you already have. Your skills and personality We imagine that you have an educational background of technical character, such as engineer or information technologist, but most important is the ability to understand, analyse and communicate about technically complex solutions. Furthermore, the following qualifications are crucial: Experience with software testing and work in software development projects Experience with test tools, test techniques and test automation TMap certification and/or ISTQB or ISEB certification Experience with Database SQL and Scripting, Java and/or other programming languages Finally, you are fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English and if you have experience with working in distributed teams, please mention it You are proactive and development-oriented with focus on improvements and products of high quality. You are outgoing and understands how to communicate and build relations in the close collaboration between customers, developers and testers, which also places your abilities as a team player at centre stage. You are comfortable with leading the way, are capable of maintaining overview of the situation and able to keep several balls in the air at the same time.
