As IT Project Manager you will responsible for running dedicated project teams in the complete product lifecycle, meeting the expected targets for: quality, cost, functionality and timeline. You will be IT Project Manager for small empowered teams, streamlined processes and a culture that values the lessons learned when you are bold enough to attempt something that has not been done before. The team is called Portfolio, Infrastructure and Tools and is responsible for driving a global harmonization of PLM processes and tools. What are my responsibilities? Conduct strategic IT Projects in PLM&Engineering Budget responsible and accountable for executing complex projects worldwide according to Siemens rules and guidelines Detailed management of project tasks and activities (resource coordination, status tracking, communication of project progress and issues) Ensure collaboration and teamwork across your project(s) to support Siemens strategy Project stakeholder management Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and resource availability Function as an advisor and sparring partner to the organization and colleagues on all levels What do I need to qualify for this job? You have an educational background as a BSc. or MSc. in Engineering, Information Management, Computer Science or similar Experience or knowledge of Project Management disciplines e.g. planning & controlling, risk/opportunity management, stakeholder management, quality, team development, leadership in projects, etc. PRINCE2 and Agile methodology Experience and knowledge from working in a complex matrix organization, cross borders, cross customers, cross organizational units, with vendors and suppliers and not least customers Life Cycle Management and business IT understanding from a similar industry e.g. the auto or the aviation industry You need to know both IT and business. Furthermore you possess excellent people management skills (Leading by example, people development and team development) You are result orientated and strive to achieve the optimal results for Siemens and its customers. You take ownership and own your project(s) and you have good at communication and cooperation skills You have a structured approach to your daily assignments and project(s) in a fast moving environment in a complex organization As a person, you are reliable and trustworthy You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
