For our EHS department in Service Wind Power we are looking for a new colleague to support us with the technical aspects of the wind power service business. The main focus in this position will be to provide technical project support and from an EHS point of view participating in testing new equipment and in various development projects across the organization. What are my responsibilities? Your overall responsibility will be to promote environmental, health and safety aspects within the design of our wind turbines, and mitigate potential incidents and risks for our service technicians and the customer’s onsite representatives. Specifically, your tasks will cover: Driving the EHS agenda when collaborating with colleagues from Siemens Wind Power and Service Wind Power on development projects. Provide EHS support in connection with the development of new tools used by the service technicians. Fail safe design review and technical investigation to prevent incidents and other undesired situations. Support safety cases/gap analysis of the entire product life cycle of Siemens’ wind turbines. Review of risk assessments, work instructions and other relevant documentation in terms of applicable EHS requirements. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a technical background and possess relevant experience from the wind industry. Perhaps you are an experienced installation or service technician. You have a passion for promoting EHS with advanced and complex installations You are pro-active in your approach towards a problem and able to assess the impact in terms of likeliness, potential harm etc. You are fluent in English, written and spoken, and capable of cooperating at all levels of the organization and across different cultures. You are flexible for travelling up to approx. 40 days a year to our sites and regional offices. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
