For our Technology and Innovation Team in the Technology Department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a dedicated FEM engineer to join our team of highly skilled engineers. The team is investigating new wind turbine concepts, and is thriving for solutions that will be beneficial for the overall value chain. What are my responsibilities? · 3D-modelling and analysis of various components by Finite Element Method calculations · Optimization on fatigue strength, as well as stiffness and stress calculations · Development and design of structural components - primarily in steel, cast iron and fibers What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a degree as a mechanical or structural engineer or similar preferably combined with experience within structural analysis, dynamics, fatigue and buckling calculations · You have material knowledge a good practical understanding and experience in working with large structures · You have strong flair for and experience with FEM tools (ANSYS, APDL and workbench) · You have experience in using CAD software such as Inventor and NX · You are able to juggle more tasks at one time and maintain the overall perspective · You are self-driven and capable of working independently as well as in teams · You thrive in an international and constructive environment · You possess good English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
