We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Java Developer to maintain and further develop our suite of internal applications. This is an opportunity for you to work with a skilled, international team in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Your future responsibilitiesYou’ll join the team Investment Products & Private Banking IT and you will be a part of the Wealth Management organization. The team is supporting the Nordea business transformation and our vision is to build and maintain tailor made systems that enable our Nordic business Investment Products and Private Banking to become market leaders to achieve their goals and visions.

What you’ll be doing:

The position is mainly targeted at Java development, combined with some SQL and JavaScript development.
Depending on skills or interests, the position can cover the full-life cycle from new requirements to be implemented, maintenance, environment configuration, product upgrades, technical improvements etc.
The focus will be on further development of the in-house developed parts of the systems, and here good skills in Java and application design using Spring and Hibernate are needed.
Parts of the systems utilize older frameworks. To support our future delivery capabilities, it is requested to obtain a good understanding of these.
We use a full development pipeline with version control (GIT/Bitbucket), Maven builds, build server
(Bamboo), automated tests, static code inspection (lgtm), JIRA, Crucible/FishEye etc. There will be a need to understand these tools and be able to work with them.

The role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We will welcome you to a very committed and dedicated team working with curiosity and skills in a complex, international and dynamic environment. The team is co-located in Copenhagen, Gdansk and Mumbai.

You have good technical skills that can implement different requirements in cooperation with the team lead. There will be good possibilities to have technical sparring and support in the team. We expect that you will have a drive to learn and grow in the position by taking on new tasks under guidance by the team lead.
