If you have the capacity to drive large volume patient data analysis utilizing SAS and Excel programs, and have international experience from an analytical background, we are looking for people like you as our new Global Customer Insights Manager. About the department Our team impacts brand strategy and tactics development across the Novo Nordisk diabetes and biopharm portfolio in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders in Global Marketing and key affiliates. We conduct anonymised patient data analysis, execute market research projects and drive analytical projects and processes. As an integrated partner for Global Marketing brand teams, we advocate a customer centric and evidence based approach in the formulation of strategy and tactics. We also provide recommendations for senior management strategic decision making, based on analysis and impactful communication of insights derived from primary and secondary data analysis. In joining us, you will have the opportunity to become part of an international, high performing team responsible for generating customer insights on physicians and patients, and translating these to impactful recommendations. The job You will drive analysis in longitudinal patient prescription database which contains over 600 million records, using SAS and excel as the primary analytical tools, generate key conclusions and implication and provide strategic and tactical recommendation for key brands in the diabetes area in Novo Nordisk. You will also lead/support our annual insights generating process annually for some of our brands to prepare for an update of their strategy. In this role, you will provide brand teams and senior management with “best in class” patient prescription data analysis and generate insights on treatment dynamics, prescription trend in order to understand the behaviours of patients and physicians. You are expected to maintain a strong collaboration with global brand teams, regional offices and key affiliates. The roles requires a combination of strong analytical skills, advanced MS Excel skills and Base SAS® programming skills, the ability to draw and communicate concise conclusions, and the ability to understand business impact and strategy. Qualifications You have a master degree in economics, science or business. You have experience in working with data analysis using SAS and Excel in a business environment, and can effectively communicate results to stakeholders at all levels. You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in big data analysis, economics, modelling or statistics or alike. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
