For this reason we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our strong and dynamic kiln engineering group. We provide state-of-the-art design and technical solutions for renovations and upgrades to existing cement plants around the world. To this end, we play a vital part in upgrading of both single products and complete machinery. The position allows you to grow professionally, and invites you to bring both your technical and innovative skills into play. Detailed Description Provide technical sales support that makes the difference As a Mechanical Engineer within Customer Services Engineering you gain 11 highly dedicated and professional colleagues. With reference to the Department Manager you provide technical support to Customer Service sales. Your solutions are what makes the difference for our customers, and hereby you play a key role in maintaining our position as a global market leader. One of your primary objectives will be to support our sales team on technical issues within the area of Pyro products. In addition, you advise our customers on technical questions. As a person you have experience from either operation or maintenance of Cement applications preferable within rotary kilns and show results in areas like innovation and development of both standard and custom-made replacement solutions. You engage in optimising our products and ensuring target costing. In time you will be involved in trouble-shooting and minor mechanical erection tasks. We welcome you in a position that gives you unique technical challenges in a dynamic and international environment. You can expect up to 40 - 50 travelling days a year. Job Requirements Technical skills and commercial mindset As a minimum you have in depth knowledge to mechanical engineering, where you have specialised in mechanical construction. Through previous positions you have gained solid knowledge of equipment supply in a B2B setting, which enables you to understand a broad range of areas, e.g. engineering, sales, internal/external customer relations and economics. Moreover, you have excellent IT competences, and you master both AutoCAD and Solid Works. As a person you have a keen eye for holistic solutions. You thrive in handling complex challenges and working independently, as well as part of a team. As you will gain a broad contact network consisting of both colleagues and customers, you must be a great communicator and possess solid interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English, and preferably other languages, is required, as you will be performing in an international environment.
