Then join the Water Utility business segment – more specifically the Controls & Monitoring team where we are 8 dedicated Product Managers and Product Specialists responsible for product management. Our aim is to deliver intelligent customised solutions within controls and monitoring that optimise pumps in the best possible way for each customer. We support and train our colleagues in our products and solutions and have a lot of experience and material in the field of training. You refer to Program Manager, Kurt Crone. ”You join a professional team where we each have our own areas of responsibility. Our solutions go beyond just pumps – we want to deliver intelligent, customised solutions that cater to our customers’ individual needs,” Kurt explains. What is the job about? As Global Product Specialist, you are responsible for the area of Controls for pump solutions, in particular within pressure boosting, HVAC, water supply and waste water transport. Thus, you carry our product training of the products within this area for your Sales and Service colleagues around the globe and develop training material and equipment. Moreover, you support your Sales and Service colleagues regarding technical product inquiries from the market. Your job will take you travelling 30 days a year. Another important part of your job is to participate in developing and upgrading new products and variants within your product area. In this process, you are also responsible for product verification and updating the product documentation. “One of the main challenges in this job is to know the organisation and all the different products. You really must have the desire to learn and build on your knowledge. And once you know the different products, it is essential that you can communicate technical terms to non-technical stakeholders, for example when you talk to customers or train colleagues,” Kurt says. What do you need to apply? You have a technical background, e.g. within marine or electromechanical engineering or similar, combined with experience in electronics and automation. You speak and write fluent English. Danish is a plus but not a prerequisite. “On a personal level, you are outgoing and able to present technical material to and train your colleagues around the world. You will be working on several tasks at a time on a global scale so it is important that you are able to handle that and collaborate well with colleagues and customers – also when it requires you to travel around the world to get the tasks done,” Kurt finishes.
