Head of Corporate Project Portfolio management The ability to translate Novozymes strategy into actions and concrete projects (e.g. business development projects, new product development and technology projects) and managing progress on these is key in realizing Novozymes’ growth ambitions. We are therefore looking for a candidate to strengthen the leadership and strategic competencies of our Corporate Portfolio Management team. The team is responsible for corporate portfolio reporting and for generating data to be used for prioritisation of Novozymes new product development, technology and optimisation projects to ensure we get maximum value out of our investment and optimal resource deployment. Qualifications - You hold a relevant Master’s degree or PhD within Business Administration or Science - You have a strong track record in Strategy Execution and Project Portfolio management – preferably within new product development - You have successfully set-up and managed a Corporate Project Portfolio function or Strategic PMO - You are known for your strong drive and ability to deliver results, your excellent communication and influencing skills and you operate effectively within a network based matrix environment - You have 3+ years of leadership experience and are able to lead, influence and motivate a team as well as stakeholders at all levels - You possess strong analytical capabilities and structured problem-solving skills - You are customer focused and preferably have insight into the development, production and sales of biotech-based products - You are fluent in English and preferably you are project management certified Challenges You will be responsible for: - Driving a portfolio management process and facilitating portfolio prioritization incl. decision making across industries groupings, R&D and Supplier Operations - Creating the vision and strategy for taking Portfolio management to the next level - Ensuring strong alignment between the corporate strategic priorities and the project portfolio including industry balance, risk profile etc. - Performing portfolio analysis and reporting and recommending optimal project portfolio composition (incl. corporate priorities and scenarios) - Developing portfolio management tools and systems - Communicating and implementing outcome of portfolio reviews - Selecting and reporting on portfolio KPIs (in collaboration with Performance Management & Business Finance) The position provides great opportunities for making an impact on Novozymes’ ability to execute on our strategy and take Corporate Project Portfolio management to the next level. The position will be established in Bagsvaerd, Denmark. You will report to the Head of Corporate Strategy and Portfolio Management and work closely together with colleagues in Corporate Strategy and Project Management as well as with colleagues in the following functions: Strategic R&D support, Business Finance, Commercial Excellence and our industry groupings.
