Information Architect, Retail Banking Business Transformation

We are searching for a Information Architect responsible for information architecture within the Retail Banking (RB) business area. You will be part of the Business Architecture team, who will develop and govern RB’s Business- and Information Architectures and data, and ensure it is properly interconnected and aligned to the Nordea Group information and data landscape. This is a great opportunity if you want to be part of the build-up and roll-out of the newly established Business Transformation organisation within the Retail Banking COO Area. The position we offer You will as business area Information Architect be responsible for the design and governance of Retail Banking’s information architecture. This role includes the following: - Represent RB in the work of establishing the Nordea Group information architecture strategies and standards, as well as building up the Group wide information architecture capabilities - Develop and govern RB’s information architecture, data models and related frameworks, and ensure it is properly interconnected and aligned to the Nordea Group - Define the target state information architecture for each type of information, recommend a roadmap to achieve the target state and track progress towards that state - Together with the data officer ensure the information architecture and data are linked to business processes and services, as well as application architectures in a good way - Engage with RB business units and change initiatives, to ensure efficient and aligned usage of information and data, and required documentation - Represent RB in the Nordea Group Data Management Committee to e.g. develop Nordea Group data management strategy, policies and standards, as well as in the Customer and Counterparty Master Data Programme Steering Committee You will report to the Head of Business Architecture, and work closely together with the RB information architect. The qualifications you need To be successful in this position, you need to have in-depth knowledge and experiences from data / information architecture roles within the financial service industry, and have a good understanding of the other enterprise architecture layers. You have an evidenced ability to create high quality architecture design and documentation, and a proven track record in implementing data and information architecture governance models. You have worked with conceptual and logical data models, as well as information and data modelling. You have strong interpersonal skills; building relationships at all levels in the organisation and with proficient skills in teamwork, collaboration, facilitation and communication. You have experiences in programme/project management and driving change. You master being creative and pragmatic, as well as very analytical and structured as required in order to progress and deliver with high quality. You hold a master’s degree in e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Finance, and have strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Enterprise architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF) is an advantage. As a person you are committed, energetic, professional, result oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a Nordic environment with a “can-do”-attitude.
