We are looking for an experienced project manager with a proven track record with information security and IT risk projects to manage and coordinate information security and privacy initiatives within Nordea Asset Management.

Your future responsibilities 

You’ll join Business Information Security Office, where we support our business in understanding IT and information security risks and in maintaining compliance. We implement information security measures while enabling business agility. Our aim is to deliver value through identification of threats, assessment of risk, expert consulting, instigating and monitoring controls as well as providing foundational security services to prevent, detect, and respond to disruptions.  

What you’ll be doing:  

• Manage, align and coordinate information security and data privacy initiatives within Nordea Asset Management 
• Drive the implementation of compliance and policy related initiatives (risk management and awareness) 
• Coordinate remediation activities to ensure that internal audit, legal and regulatory requirements are met 
• Developing project scopes, objectives and project plans, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility 
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget 
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress 
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs  
• Prepare regular reports on project status and escalate to management as needed 

The role is based in Copenhagen and reports to the BISO/CISO function within Asset Management. We look forward to welcoming you to a newly established, dynamic team which will be a major contributor to the development of Asset Management in the international arena.

Your profile and background:  

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree a plus 
• 6+ years of relevant experience required, with proven knowledge of project management principles within IT risks and information security 
• Strong ability to translate complex IT and security challenges and issues into business risks 
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills 
• Willingness to travel (limited travel involved) 
• Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE II, etc.)
