Join DONG Energy and become Junior Portfolio Analyst in our Portfolio, Systems and Standards department which is part of Wind Power Project Support. We are a newly created team, developing and managing tools supporting standardised time, resource and risk management across offshore wind projects. Furthermore, we provide top management and other relevant stakeholders with portfolio reports and analysis. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based in our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling to our locations both in Denmark and abroad in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Junior Portfolio Analyst, you work with the preparation of portfolio reports and benchmarking analysis across offshore wind projects in close cooperation with your colleagues. The main focus areas are scheduling, resource planning and risk management, and in this connection you use several of our project management supporting systems as data sources. Furthermore, you gather and structure data across our offshore wind projects, which you analyse in order to identify trends and formulate qualified conclusions. You also prepare data models and templates based on historical records. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: • elaborate on benchmark analysis and portfolio reports to top management and other stakeholders in the organisation • administer our daily progress reporting system where process performance data is registered • visit construction site (on- and offshore) to implement and train users in the daily progress reporting system • support the business in the consistent use of the daily progress reporting system • execute on systems development based on user feedback and system change implementation. Your profile You hold a master’s or bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent qualification, and preferably you have experience from the wind industry or from working with data analysis in general, though it is not a prerequisite. You are a super user of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Power Point, and you are acquainted with data modelling, programming and have flair for IT systems. It is also important that you have excellent communication skills, enabling you to present and communicate the results of your work in an efficient manner. You are fluent in English and Danish, allowing you to cooperate efficiently in our international working environment. As a person, you have strong analytical skills and you are detail-oriented. You are proactive and constructive when working with others. Additionally, you are able to handle numerous tasks simultaneously and finalise tasks at agreed deadlines.
