Would you like to take up the challenge of managing a team of highly skilled sourcing and contract management experts, responsible for managing large cable contracts for our offshore wind farms? Join us and become Manager of Cable team in the CAPEX Procurement, Transmission department which is commercially responsible for sourcing cable supply contracts and executing contract management of contracts for the supply and installation of cables to our offshore wind farms. Cables is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen. You should, however, expect some travelling in relation to your work as employees and consultants in your team can also be based at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia and at our London office. Your key tasks will be to ?have the overall responsibility for developing and leading the Cable team and steer and guide commercially to ensure that sourcing and execution of contracts is undertaken professionally and strategically and supports our strategic targets to drive down cost of electricity and improve safety and quality ?be responsible for people development of approximately 10 employees in the department and for the planning, prioritisation and delegation of new assignments and projects ?ensure a strong collaboration in the department ?ensure sufficient knowledge sharing and QA of work carried out by your department, including identification and implementation of synergies and incorporation of lessons learned and best practices ?ensure that required procurement skills and resources are available for the project and product line organisations and manage business relationships with internal and external key stakeholders. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have a business-oriented mindset and solid leadership skills within sourcing and contract management and preferably also within international energy, process or construction projects •have a cross-disciplinary background based on a bachelor or master’s degree in economics, law or engineering •have strong negotiation and communication skills, enabling you to convey your message in a concise and efficient manner •have international experience, preferably including sourcing in low cost countries •have great stakeholder management skills and the ability to cooperate efficiently with colleagues from other in-house functions •have a positive, target-oriented and proactive approach to your tasks and employees •have a structured and analytical approach to your work.
