- Administrative - Denmark - Søborg Clinical Operations, Insulin & Diabetes Outcomes, is seeking a new colleague to take up a temporary position as VP Assistant. About the department In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. We work in global project teams with focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society. Clinical Operations is responsible for planning and conducting clinical trials within the diabetes area from phase 2-4. As VP assistant you will play a key role in coordinating activities within the area. The VP area consists of the management team and 4 sub departments. The job You will act as Personal Assistant to the VP of Clinical Operations in the Insulin & Diabetes Outcomes project and will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks. One of your main tasks will be to prepare and follow up on the Line of Business budget forecast for the entire VP area. Moreover, you will arrange and participate in management meetings, project and area meetings. Other tasks include calendar management, travel arrangements, handling of human resource issues, planning of department meetings, taking meeting minutes and preparing PowerPoint presentations. You will work closely together with the management team as well as the area’s assistants. Qualifications You can proactively take action and ownership for tasks and decisions and welcome new responsibilities. Your coordination skills and overview is above average, while at the same time having a structured approach. You ensure understanding by effectively delivering information and seeking input. You have excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to collaborate across boundaries. You adapt easily to a changing environment and shifting demands, and you are eager to contribute to the continuous development of the department. You are able to handle confidential information and last but not least you have high spirits. Your educational background includes a bachelor degree, with at least 3 years experience in an administrative position preferably from an international business environment. You are proficient with both written and spoken English. You like to be part of a multi-cultural team, working with multiple and frequently changing priorities.
