- Business Development - Denmark - Bagsværd In Novo Nordisk production, Product Supply, we are looking for a strategy consultant for our Capacity Planning team in a global, dynamic and challenging environment. Are you interested in strategic analyses, capacity planning and stakeholder management? A position as strategy consultant in Capacity Planning is currently open for replacement. This is your opportunity to join the department responsible for global planning activities in our production unit, Product Supply. About the department Capacity Planning is part of Product Supply Business Support and is responsible for the long term planning and overview of production capacity for all marketed products as well as products in our development pipeline. In the coming years, Novo Nordisk will be launching more products than ever before, necessitating continued robust and cost-effective volume growth in an increasingly globalised production footprint. The job In Capacity Planning, we have close cooperation with business units and our approach is to act as strategic partners based on strong planning competencies combined with a good understanding of the business in which we operate. As a Strategy Consultant you will gain insights into the strategic considerations of the company. You will become familiar with current and future supply and demand challenges, and you will have an opportunity to make a difference in terms of analyses and recommendations to senior management. You will participate in, and drive, various activities and projects to continuously improve our end-to-end supply chain management, risk management and scenario building processes. Selected key tasks include: (i) driving the long-term supply/demand process for a production area, where you will be responsible for securing an evidence-based, flexible and transparent platform for decisions about future capacity development and investments, (ii) contributing to increased pipeline readiness in Product Supply, and (iii) providing input to strategies and risk mitigation processes. Qualifications You hold a master’s degree within social sciences or business education, and you have a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience. You are able to identify scenarios and make recommendations in a complex decision-making environment. You have experience with demand planning and/or capacity planning either from a support function or from a more operational unit in the pharmaceutical sector. You have good analytical skills and you are confident with data retrieval, analysis and management presentations. You are ambitious, result-oriented and structure your own work. You are comfortable with working independently and as part of a team. In general, you collaborate and navigate easily with all levels in the organisation. You write and speak English fluently.
