Network Engineer for CIT Technology & Security - Hosting Solutions

Are you a network engineer and want to take part in creating, implementing and operating the Hosting Platform at the LEGO® Group? And are you passionate about working with new architecture, resilience/availability and security in a global context? Ensuring an excellent infrastructure Your role is a twofold split between working with the current daily operations and being part of projects developing the Hosting Platform. You will be working out of CIT Tech - Hosting Solutions in Billund, Denmark, but you will be operating in the global context of the LEGO® Group. In this position, you: Join a team of 8 IT professionals, working with a broad range of hosting technologies. Your primary focus will be on network technologies and appliances (ex. routing, firewall, WAN, load balancing, IDS and IPS). Ensure that the IT infrastructure is set up and operated in accordance with the defined architecture and infrastructure principles Manage your own time and prioritise between IT project work and driving operational excellence. Network engineer in a Hosting department The challenge in this position is to be able to both go in depth with key technologies and at the same time maintain broad knowledge to be an active team player across the entire technical area. We prioritize creativity to support personal development and at the same time build innovative solutions supporting our business. The technology stack is kept up to date and we continuously challenge each other on new technologies and solutions. To achieve this you: Have a degree in IT including knowledge corresponding to a Cisco CCNA or similar certification. Preferably knowledge of infrastructure components like Windows, Linux, Load balancers, firewalls and/or virtualization technologies Have strong cooperative abilities and are able to communicate effectively with both other local and remote infrastructure experts, project managers and end users.
