Do you possess expert knowledge of low power wireless communication protocols, e.g. Z-Wave and ZigBee? And does the idea of joining a software development team with skilled and committed colleagues in a constantly developing and innovative environment appeal to you? Then you could be the Software Wireless Specialist we are looking for in Danfoss R&D. Developing excellence in wireless products You will work in close cooperation with numerous stakeholders, both internally in Danfoss and externally with third-party product designer to ensure the best possible solution for Danfoss products. Amongst your key tasks will be SW design and implementation of the wireless communication protocols Z-Wave and/or ZigBee (and perhaps in the future Wi-Fi) in existing and coming new Danfoss products on battery-operated devices. You will design and create wireless protocol SW modules that can be used across platforms and products. It is, therefore, essential that you bring expert knowledge of the low power wireless communication protocols, e.g. Z-Wave and ZigBee, and also a solid knowledge of Wi-Fi, which you can expand if this technology evolves towards the battery-powered area (e.g. 6LoWPAN). Strong communicator with an eye for new opportunities and problem solving You will be the Danfoss point of contact and drive the discussions towards the wireless protocol providers and suppliers. You are able to understand and communicate possible solutions and problem descriptions from high-level management to detailed technical clarifications by use of crisp and clear communication methods towards stakeholders. You will lead the troubleshooting and debugging on the wireless protocol part and towards the Danfoss application SW. You will also lead the implementation of fail-safe wireless protocols that communicate with both Danfoss and non-Danfoss products. Cooperation and multi-tasking You have an overall business understanding and interdisciplinary interest, and you build relations and cooperate across organisations. You are self-driven and capable of handling several tasks in parallel. You have a structured approach to your work and excellent documentation skills. You possess solid analytical abilities and take on responsibility and you possess and demonstrate drive for performance and determination for winning.
