Job ID: 156911 Location: Esbjerg Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: full time The Offshore business region is expanding its activities, and we are therefore looking for a visible operational manager who will be responsible for our D6 production, the professional employees involved, project quality, EHS etc. What are my responsibilities? As the Group Lead you will be located at our offshore preassembly site in Esbjerg - Neptune. You will be responsible for the overall management of the production and the 20-25 professional technicians, the continuous improvement of the production set up, manning and Zero Harm management. More specifically, your assignments will cover: • Leading and inspiring the D6 preassembly crew to perform excellence • Daily reporting on KPI’s production performance report etc. • Planning and allocating resources within the D6 site • Reporting to Neptune management • Registrations related to the planning, manning of resources and quality • D6 documentation What do I need to qualify for this job? You have excellent leadership abilities from a similar position within the production area as your results will be driven by people and performance. You have great communication skills in order to manage the on-site resources and challenges. Preferable, you have a degree in engineering or another technical education at a Bachelor’s level with a good understanding and usage of technical terminology and processes. To be successful in the position you have to be change management oriented and aware of the LEAN principles. You possess good Danish and English skills both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
