We are now looking for a Commercial Manager Wind Projects (m/f) for our Offshore Wind Projects to the earliest possible entry date. The position is an unlimited full-time position, initially to support HR3, and can be filled either in Kolding or London, but will require up to 25% travelling within Europe. The Commercial Manager is responsible for setting the commercial and contracting strategy, assisting with the development of the procurement strategy and managing the contract / commercial management processes in one or multiple packages of work. This role supports the procurement manager, package manager, commercial project manager and project director with the contractual arrangements, management and award of contracts. The Commercial Manager is a key role within the Commercial Support team. The Commercial Support team play a vital role in protecting and, where possible, reducing LEC for our projects by defending claims and variations, identifying and realizing opportunities and reducing risk. Your job as Commercial Manager Wind Projects The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Support developing a contract strategy with key stakeholders (i.e. procurement, technology, commercial) to decide how the market will be approached (multi-contract, EPC, EPCI, etc.) • Support the procurement manager and legal with contract drafting, in particular with defining commercial requirements/boundaries for specific packages • Identify risks and proposes mitigating actions to risk manager • Define contract administration rules (jointly with other contract managers and the Contract and Claim Management Expert Group) • Support the packages in defining a contract execution strategy • Ensure all contractual obligations are met by both the client and contractor • Lead on claims and variation management on behalf of the package • Advise packages with regards to variation requests and/or notices from a contractor (key interfaces are the package manager, procurement and legal) Your profile as Commercial Manager Wind Projects • Academic degree in a commercial subject, quantity surveying, engineering or equivalent with relevant commercial work experience in large scale project execution • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial management in offshore renewables, offshore oil and gas, or similar complex and regulated industries • Demonstrable commercial or contract management track record in major CAPEX and OPEX environments • Working experience and proven track record of delivering capital projects and the ability to interpret contractual and claim management topics • Extensive knowledge of FIDIC and LOGIC contracts, legal and commercial contract terms • Experience with engineering disciplines associated with offshore wind construction projects (i.e. Structural/Civil, Electrical Systems or Wind Turbine Generators) • Good knowledge of current health, safety and environmental legislation • Good understanding of commercial interfaces between contractual boundaries and technical implementation • Strong analytical skills and the ability to consolidate a large amount of information and to present the information in a clear and structured format • Outstanding initiative, collaborative and relationship building skills • Good communication skills and fluent in English Our offer Good remuneration, a challenging and international work environment, and the possibility to work with some of the best in the field.
