All logistics planning and operation is handled centrally from our Esbjerg based office with responsibilities split between five individual groups. We are searching for an experienced manager to head the planning group responsible for inventory levels & turn over based on service level targets. You will be leading 9 dedicated employees whose background and seniority varies.
Your contribution to something big
As planning manager you will have the direct link to the logistics manager and will be part of the local logistics management team which has the global responsibility for the logistical setup in the value chain. You will be involved in the development of the global logistical setup and have regular contact with all functional areas in the organization as well as external partners.
What distinguishes you
You have a university degree within Supply Chain Management, Business Management or similar focusing on process optimization. You already have experience with leading people and acting in an international organization. You effectively establish relations and manage to navigate between different stakeholders keeping focus on the overall business impacts. You are fact based and result driven always focusing on deadlines. You have high skills in IT and are able to solve both operational tasks as well more strategic challenges.
