User Platforms is responsible for a deep technical function that plans, builds, tests, implements, manages, optimizes and supports the BT Dealer phone and Lync application included the connected components as switchboard, response groups, CCD, voice recording, video conferencing and VoIP. The position we offer Platform owner for Unified Communication are responsible for leading the development of infrastructure strategy & plans and architecture procedures for the enterprise. We lead the migration to new technologies, evaluates capacity needs and processing performance related to machine and people utilization, and forecasts financial, physical, and human resource needs to meet established objectives. Furthermore we are responsible for providing the direction for the infrastructure and technical architecture function. Interfaces with the application services units to define infrastructure support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness. Interface: •Ambassador/dialogue with stakeholders, platform owners, operations and architects •Responsible for sourcing, procurement, vendor relations and contract management. •Initiating & Participate in project maturation and implementation Technical responsible for: •Platform architecture and strategy •Upgrades & platform lifecycle •Proactively drive platform development – setting the goals •Long term planning Process optimization: •Develop platform standards and ensure they are followed The qualifications you need You have in-depth understanding of the Unified Communication platforms: •Leading the design, development, customization, and integration of Unified Communication platforms •Have excellent knowledge and experience of Lync •Analyse business requirements and proactively drive development •Have the dialogue with stakeholders, platform owners, operations and architects •Create architecture and strategy •Cooperation with telecommunication companies •Participating in mobile and fixed subscription sourcing and management Furthermore we believe that you: •have driver abilities, with strong capability of multitasking and energising and lots of positive energy and engagement •have strong ability to communicate with stakeholders •have strong presentation and communication skills •are focused and service minded and capable of quickly understanding new systems and business areas •attain and maintain high performance and are a team player •are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
