We are looking for a PLM Chief Engineer for our onshore WTG solutions within our Product Life Cycle Management department based in Brande, Denmark. The department is part of the Global Engineering & PLM function in the Onshore Market Unit. You will be joining an efficient team of Product/Project Managers and you will have a great opportunity to influence the development of our future onshore product offering. The PLM team is responsible for defining the product requirements and product roadmaps for the Onshore Market Unit. Moreover, the team drives project execution cross-functionally throughout all stages of the product life cycle. What are my responsibilities? Focusing on the front end of our product and technology development activities, identifying and evaluating business opportunities and making recommendations for strategic product roadmap decisions Thorough market analysis and competitor assessment which is another key focus area in this role Translating market and commercial requirements into product performance and cost targets Leading the scoping phase of major development projects Engaging in major tenders and strategic sales planning What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a M.Sc. degree in Engineering combined with a commercial education (e.g. MBA) or relevant commercial experience You have at least 10 years of relevant experiences in the wind industry or experience with B2B product management in the wider energy industry You have a thorough understanding of macro and micro economic aspects influencing the industry’s investments, projects financing as well as strong technical understanding of the product You have a strong customer mindset and thorough understanding of the value chain, product & technology, development and supply chain management Furthermore you hold communication and presentation skills You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
