For the Wind Operations Procurement team we are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager Operations Wind with location Esbjerg/DK, Kolding/DK, Stockholm/SWE, Hamburg/GER or Amsterdam/NL. Your job as a Procurement Manager Operations Wind You will have a significant impact on Vattenfall realizing its transition to a more sustainable energy portfolio by securing the necessary equipment and services at best value for the company. You will be engaging with the wind supply chain team to define procurement strategies as well as identify novel market approaches to maximize the company’s profitability. You will work in an environment where you deal with executives internally and externally to drive value from Vattenfall’s supply chain for the business. Your job at Vattenfall requires a significant amount of travelling, at peak times 50%. As a Procurement Manger Operations Wind you belong to the Procurement Wind Generation team, and you will have a key role being responsible for leading complex wind procurement initiatives in full alignment with the Business Area Wind´s objectives. You will also be asked to identify new and/or implement suitable procurement approaches to deliver lowest levelised Energy Cost. Your key activites will be: •Developing and implementing procurement strategies for major wind O&M categories which could include logistics, scheduled services, turbine repairs and spare parts •Engaging with the supply chain to maintain the team’s deep understanding on specific parts of the market •Driving tendering activities including qualification, tendering, evaluation, negotiation and preparing contract award decisions for Wind O&M initiatives, ensuring best value and compliance with the Vattenfall objectives and principles •Supporting contract management activities, direct involvement for large claims and variations resolutions. Perfect! We are looking for someone that has significant experience in driving business with large spend suppliers in an international environment. Within the Wind Procurement Generation team we value your communication skills as much as your hard skills. We are looking for a good communicator who is able to listen, bring a message across clearly, retrieve the needed information and has the ability to adapt to their audience. You are a team player who actively engages people by asking, sharing, helping or asking for help. And you are pro-active, transparent, performance and results oriented. Furthermore you have: •A relevant University degree or equal •A few years of professional experience on O&M procurement categories •A few years of experience in working within the Wind Business •Deep knowledge of Wind O&M in at least one area of the supply chain •Knowledge of project management processes •Experience of driving change towards lean processes and ensures adoption and improvement of defined standards •Excellent negotiation skills on standards forms of contract •Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: Swedish, German, Dutch, Danish.
