Then join the Water Utility business segment – more specifically the Controls & Monitoring product team where we are 10 dedicated Product Managers and Product Specialists responsible for product management. Our aim is to deliver intelligent pump solutions within controls and monitoring that optimise performance and usage of pumps in the best possible way for each customer. We introduce new products to the market and train sales colleagues in our products and solutions. You refer to Program Manager, Kurt Crone. ”You will join a professional team where we each have our own areas of responsibility. But we focus on sparring because a lot of tasks across the team are similar. In the team, we are proud to develop sustainable solutions that actually make a difference in the world within water and energy,” Kurt explains. What is the job about? As our new Product Manager, you are responsible for Grundfos’ wide range of sensor products. This entails planning the development and sourcing of sensors, your point of reference being the business needs and market demands – and translating this into development and product plans. You specify the development initiatives for our development functions and you launch new products to the market and internally. In collaboration with our purchasing team, you work closely with our external suppliers to make sure we constantly have the right products at the right time, agreed cost and of the best quality. “You will have a huge influence on how our sensor solutions will expand and develop over the coming years. As a large part of your job is to work with external suppliers, your challenge is to constantly expand and develop your product portfolio in collaboration with our sensor partners in order to cover our needs and introduce new products,” Kurt says. What do you need to apply? You have a technical background, perhaps as Marine Engineer, and you possess great technical skills – possibly from working with sensors, measuring equipment, process and surveillance systems. Moreover, you have solid experience with product management and know through and through how to develop a product area. If you have experience with sensors, it is a plus. You speak and write English fluently. “In order to optimise our product programme and profitability, you have to be outgoing and an excellent networker as you will have many internal and external stakeholders and partners. Your drive allows you to make sound decisions for your product area and you constantly keep an eye on our processes in order to optimise our programme as much as possible,” Kurt finishes.
