Are you motivated to be the specialist who commercialises large defence products? Can you ensure that our value proposition stands out on the market? Well now you have the opportunity to make your mark and create results in our Defence business unit.

You spot opportunities in the market
As the product marketing manager, you will be responsible for commercialising our Defence business unit, which supplies defence products that are used in more than 40 countries worldwide. You understand the products in depth and press the right buttons to distinguish us in the market with successful and marketable USPs for each defence product. You also understand our customers and can produce valuable content that speaks directly to them. Your primary task is to ensure that our product marketing activities create value for the entire customer journey from A to Z. In other words, you will translate your marketing expertise into growth and visible bottom-line results, helping to ensure that we achieve our growth targets. You can look forward to becoming part of a dedicated Group Marketing team, in which you will work with other professionals. You will also enjoy a close collaboration with Product Management in Defence in order to maintain the link between your astute messages and our defence products.

Here is a taste of what you will do:

• Disseminate market insights behind the value chain
• In close collaboration with our Product Management team, ensure that our USPs are clearly defined for each defence product
• Develop positioning messages and strategies which clearly convey our USPs and distinguish us in the market
• Lead the development of a website for Defence in collaboration with the Group Communication team, product managers and sales managers
• Produce innovative content aimed at B2B target groups in the Defence market, and which is streamlined across customer experiences

You can expect between 20-40 days of travel annually, working with colleagues around the world, visiting customers and attending exhibitions and other events.

Razor-sharp commercial communicator
We expect you to have the relevant education and at least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing. Your experience will give you a clear commercial understanding of, and familiarity with, content marketing.

You are proactive and have the drive to streamline product marketing in an energetic and fast-paced environment. You are a talented communicator who is capable of selecting and conveying the right message to the right target group. You build good relationships with your colleagues, customers and partners and are keen to develop a broad interface in your day-to-day work. You also have an understanding of commerce and a flair for sales and business.

It is a bonus, but not a requirement, that you have experience of HubSpot, Umbraco CMS, InDesign and Photoshop.

 

Last but not least, you must speak and write fluent English.
