Do you have what it takes to lead our new Customer Engagement Platform across selected European countries? Can you take Product Ownership of the platform and make continuous improvements? Carlsberg Global Business Services is looking for an Product owner, who will have a combined role of ownership for the digital products, and project / process management responsibility for the projects and tasks that arise in connection with making our digital products Best in Class. To support you, you will have dedicated resources working with you, and external highly skilled software development team. You will report to a Director in the Digital & Commercial organization.

 

Project management and Product ownership

In your role, you will be accountable for ensuring that the product performs and delivers, manage vendors and budgets, keep timelines and manage stakeholders across the organization and countries. There is rich opportunity to influence future changes and requirements, to influence the web shop strategy, and to work in an area that enjoys great attention from senior management, and in which several resources are invested. Your primary tasks are: 

• Ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout product lifecycle.
• Manage cross-functional teams and end-to-end business initiatives.
• Document progress and communicate to senior management and stakeholders.
• Run quarterly design workshops with markets and vendors.
• Ensure effective change management and risk management including effectively communicating project status, project risks and recovery plans.
• Coach product team on standardized scrum practices, help identify MVPs and determine value.
• Co-facilitate daily scrums/stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, planning and grooming meetings to monitor project progress, and resolve issues.

 

Take charge in developing an ambitious Digital Platform

Carlsberg’s digital platform will be a central customer engagement platform and the one-stop shop for all customers. We are looking for an experienced and high-performing product owner with +5 years of experience, who has strong experience in running agile projects, and who has also previously worked with traditional project models. We also expect you to have some insight in ecommerce solutions. You have successfully led international and cross-functional change projects in a large corporate environment before. You talk business, but with a firm outset in IT, where you are used to work with requirements and software development. Hopefully, you have a Scrum Master certification to support your agile mindset.

• Delivery oriented and cost focused.
