Do you have program management experience? Or are you a skilled project manager with extensive experience leading complex projects? Then take on tactical and strategic responsibilities and help deliver new, top quality LEGO Elements as our new Senior Program Manager. Deliver high level program management Joining the Leadership Team of 6 people in Technical Element Design, Novelty, you will be responsible for our external elements portfolio (design of LEGO Elements done internally, elements manufactured externally). Your mission will be to deliver solid program management and ensure that processes and tools are continuously improved. To do so, you lead, develop and create motivation in element development without formal leadership responsibilities. And you build valuable relations to Procurement and external suppliers, as you will handle framework and cooperation agreements. Essentially, you will: Screen technology on the novelty projects in the P phase Secure status on project plans and keep portfolio overview including deadlines, risks and resources Be process/functional specialist regarding development of elements with our external partners. This includes being process and tool owner Ensure that the portfolio of external elements (both novelties and “new carry-overs”) are delivered at the right time, price and quality (share traffic light with all stakeholders) Maintain network and collaborative partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver results by enabling both colleagues and partners Establish a positive spirit in our collaboration with external partners where aspiring to continuously deliver best practice and exquisite element development is the norm Perform LEAN work to secure that the targets for the department are achieved Stakeholder management in a connected community In the department we develop all of the novelty elements within the LEGO Group and we function as the first link in the process that takes new elements from idea to production. You will join a supportive, collaborative team structure and network where your excellent stakeholder management skills put you and our partners on the road to success. Empathetic and open This position requires you to be thoughtful and open in your approach to other people, as stakeholder management and building relations will be keys to your success. You understand leadership issues, and enjoy thinking creatively and results oriented, e.g. when you are challenged on how processes are run. Further, you need to be quality conscious, have the drive to take on strategic and tactical responsibilities. Your qualifications: Either you have a commercial background and technical understanding/interest, or you have a technical background and have worked your way into a more commercially minded role As a minimum, you have solid project management experience (e.g. 3-5 years), working with complex projects that involve many stakeholders.
