CMC Biologics A/S (CMC) is a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO), specialized in development of analytical methods, process development and production of biopharmaceuticals. CMC is operating in a global market, servicing customers on several continents. One of our talented Project Directors is transitioning into a Business Development role and we are therefore seeking an experienced Project Director to join the Project Management Team in Copenhagen. As a contract manufacturer it is of the utmost importance for CMC to run effective customer projects, successfully manage the customer relationships and to provide a high level of service. Therefore, project management is a key competency in the company. Project Management is responsible for managing our customer projects, for co-ordination of external as well as internal activities and, in co-operation with line management, ensuring optimal use of facility and resources. The position • You will be given the responsibility for customer projects from contract to the delivery of the final product • Ensure progress and delivery according to the contractual milestones and defined time lines • Act as the customer's primary contact at CMC • Manage the cross-functional project teams and follow up on the project financial aspects • Participate, in co-operation with the other Project Directors/Managers, in continuous improvement of the company's project system You We expect that you have relevant educational background as Master or Ph.D. degree in engineering, biochemistry, pharmaceutical or other relevant area. In addition you have: • Documented project management experience of cross functional projects within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry • A solid scientific background within one of the following areas: cell culture, protein purification, protein characterization, process characterization or process validation • Experience as CMC responsible in a relevant organization or in other positions where Relation Management is key • A solid understanding of key elements and interdependencies in the biotech value chain • The ability to establish and maintain customer relationships • The ability to communicate clearly in English both orally and in writing • Solid experience with cGMP As a Project Director you will report to the Vice President for Project Management.
