Vattenfall is now looking for a Project Engineer Wind Turbines Onshore (m/f) for our Wind Projects. The position can be filled either in Hamburg or Kolding and is an unlimited full time position. Your job as Project Engineer Wind Turbines Onshore •You work as WTG Engineer in onshore wind projects in all Vattenfall markets primarily during development phase •You engage in early wind farm development and advise on best fit of WTG to site •You optimize the wind farm concept and especially the WTG with the aim to reduce the levelized energy cost to possible minimum •You create project specific employer requirements based on standard set of ERs •You prepare material for WTG procurement process (ITTs, selection criteria etc.) •You lead the technical side throughout negotiations of WTG selection process Furthermore it will be your task to ensure mandatory employer requirements are fulfilled and that WTGs are fit for the site (e.g. load assessments). You will reflect technial matters commercially and vice versa and align all stakeholders and their contribution to the WTG contract. Your profile as Project Engineer Wind Turbines Onshore •University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or other relevant discipline •Minimum 3 years of broad technical experience within the wind turbine industry or very closely related industry •Background in procurement / sales processes preferred and with motivation to engage in complex negotiations •Understanding of WTG technology and main components e.g. drivetrains, blades and electrical generation •Experience within a complex multidisciplinary project environment •Preferably familiar with FIDIC contracts and able to translate technical detail into commercial impact •Motivated to work in a multinational working environment •Willingness to travel within northern Europe •High degree of self-motivation with a flexible approach to work At Vattenfall Wind you will work in a dynamic, professional, international environment with highly skilled and motivated colleagues.
