 Quality and Business improvement Inspector

 About the position

For our Service department in Denmark we are looking for a Quality and Business Improvement Inspector – The Quality and Business Improvement Inspector designs, plans and executes quality inspections that link cost of poor quality issues to process and asset poor quality failure modes within the Operations and Maintenance area. Process and asset failure modes are prioritized and then through working in partnership with other functions, mitigation and risk reduction quality assurance measures are designed and introduced into the Operational processes. This role involves a data led approach to systematically reduce the cost of poor quality and continually drive down the levelized cost of wind energy. As such Quality and Business Improvement inspections will mainly be carried out on wind farms located around Scandinavia, there will also be a great deal of collaboration with the SGRE offices around Scandinavia.  

 What are my responsibilities?

• Create and execute inspection plans that:
  • Satisfy stakeholder requirements
  • Minimize the cost of poor quality
  • Minimize the cost of inspections and impact on business efficiency
  • Maximize the probability of identifying systemic issues
• Build a high performing partnership with: Engineering, Warranty management and Operations that:
  • Priorities actions according to safety and commercial risks
  • Link safety and cost of poor quality findings back to actions that design quality assurance solutions in processes and engineering solutions
  • Ensure quality assurance improvements are permanently implemented
• Partner with other in the BIQ team to align on Operational audits and inspection activities
• Support to and continual improvement of an effective Quality Management System
• Sharing and adoption of best practices

 What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Detailed technical turbine knowledge in technologies (E.g. Direct Drive or Geared technology). This can be obtained from earlier job roles such as e.g. troubleshooter, commissioning technician, quality engineer, etc.
• Awareness of Service quality inspection processes
• Proven service, technical and maintenance background preferably from the wind turbine industry
• English oral and written minimum on Level A2 Elementary and preferably on B1 intermediate level
• Data reporting, analysis and presentation skills
• Experienced IT user competences, especially MS-Office package
• Awareness of Quality management system, i.e. reporting and deviations management
• Flexibility in terms of travel
