- for offshore projects from contract signing till handover to client Our portfolio of significant, technically complex offshore wind farms is increasing worldwide. Therefore, we are looking for experienced and committed SCADA Project Engineers for the Offshore Engineering department at our global head office in Vejle, Denmark. What are my responsibilities? As a SCADA Project Engineer you will act as a main technical interface in relation to offshore SCADA projects during the project execution phases as well as a contributor to the offshore development in general. You will drive the SCADA project both internal and external, create project specific SCADA solutions together with SCADA Project Team and you are involved from contract signing until the project is handed over to the client. More specifically, your assignments will cover: Coordination of the implementation of the SCADA systems for offshore customer projects worldwide Initiation of the SCADA design documentation with input from the contract and Project Management Handle Variation Orders for each additional functionality requested by the customer, not included in the contract Management the SCADA process both internal and external from contract signing till handover to client Management of SCADA project team (SCADA Configuration / SCADA Technician) Tracking and updating of the milestones of the SCADA projects. Ensuring of the agreed deadline for the delivery of the SCADA system by central Engineering in coordination with Project Management Management of open issues of customer projects (snag list) Design of the SCADA solution based on the customer requirements and creation of the Bill of Material Coordinate technical support to the project organization during installation, commissioning and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) On-site troubleshooting (Mainly done by our technician) Participating in customer meetings Create as build documentation Identifying issues and creating solutions for improving wind farm SCADA systems Some travel activities to sites and clients must be expected. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a strong technical background and ideally a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering combined with SCADA system experience, preferably from the wind industry, an industrial company or a provider of advanced SCADA systems. Furthermore, it would be an advantage if you have experience with customer contact and project execution. As a person, you are well-structured and able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks. You are an action-oriented team player with good networking skills and a positive mindset, and you possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing.
