Location Valby Organization Name Group Finance Professional Area Finance Department Description Senior Controller – Group Finance Are you committed to spearhead activities, CFO sparring partner and goals fulfilment? Brief Description Your prime objective will be to be part of the External and Internal reporting to Group Executive Management and OMX Nordic. You will get responsibility for the entities of a designated region where you have to ensure that the entities are reporting according to FLSmidth guidelines and IFRS. Detailed Description In detail, you will: · Act as sparring partner for the country CFO’s, finance people in our group companies · Travel to our larger entities to train and support the local finance department and gather project and business knowledge · Participate in the monthly and quarterly reporting (actual, estimate and budget) to Group Executive Management · Perform dedicated controlling of the reporting of our group companies to secure quality in the reporting · Support and challenge closing processes in our Group Companies and help local finance teams setting up processes that mitigate risks and increase quality in reporting · Analysing data and information to support Group Executive Management in decision making · Prepare and update Group accounting financial manual and reporting guidelines · Work with IFRS and develop competencies to challenge and implement new IFRS standards You will report to Head of External and Internal Reporting within Group Finance and work together with 10 dedicated controllers with whom you will be sparring. The job will give you approximately 20 – 30 travel days per year and an immense surface of contacts as you will continuously interact with e.g. CFOs and Finance departments in various group companies on a global scale as well as Group management. Job Requirements Experience from international auditing firm You must have a have 6-8 years of experience from an international auditing firm and preferably additional 2 years of controlling experience from an international enterprise in addition; it is preferable that you have a Master’s degree in Business Economics and Auditing (cand.merc.aud). It is an advantage if you have a strong IFRS understanding. You must be an advanced user of Excel and be familiar with PowerPoint. You should be a team player, meaning that you adapts to the team, build team spirit and listen, consults others and communicating proactively. You should be able to analyse numerical data, verbal data and other sources of information. Be able to challenge the information and break it down into components, parts, patterns and relationships. You should be open-minded and be driven by presenting and communicating information in a logic way to different level of finance competences.
