Are you ready to set your mark on LEGOs® graphic expression from concept to finished product? Join LEGO and use your magnificent story telling talents and graphical expertise to design products and good quality play experiences that enrich children's’ lives all over the world. New concept designs across materials and techniques Your focus is to take full responsibility for development of new concept designs all the way from first idea to delivering final files ready for production. You will work across multiple materials and ensure that each of your designs is made with the optimal technique that matches the designated material. In peak seasons you will also do artwork briefs for external partners with a clear design direction and follow up to make sure they deliver on brief, on time and on budget. As such, you will contribute to taking design and brand direction for our non-core portfolio to the next level. In all that you do, you bear in mind to communicate the LEGO core messages, trademark guidelines and high level of quality. To do so, you must: Secure delivery of concept art, final specifications, packaging design and final production art within the given parameters Analyse, visualise and mature ideas and concepts and give understandable feedback Manage projects concerning style guide briefings Strive to deliver on brief, on time, on budget at all times Communicate the LEGO values and design language Assist and challenge our licensing partners and help them to become great providers of the LEGO DNA You will join a team of 17 Designers in Licensing & Extended Line Design Management. We are a competence centre for design and development of non-core LEGO products. As LEGO experts we have a consulting role towards all outbound licensing partners at a global scale and ensure that the LEGO values and DNA are expressed in the right way. Compassionate people skills and a passion for high-class graphic design Your diploma displays a theoretical background as Illustrator, Art Director or Graphic Designer. This is topped with at least 8 years’ experience within the graphic design business. This calls for a desire to set a strong design direction and an extended ability to walk the talk through images and text.
