Our Offshore Service business is expanding its activities and we are thus facing exciting challenges at our Global head office in Brande, Denmark, as well as in our regions. For our Maritime & Aviation Solutions department we are therefore looking for an experienced and committed Jack-Up Specialist to take the lead in rolling out the Jack-Up Strategy as well as managing the use of Jack-Ups for specific offshore projects. What are my responsibilities? As a Jack-Up Specialist you will contribute to technical contract management as well as budget and time scheduling, including establishment and maintenance of site specific vessel operation criteria for different offshore service tasks and operations. More specifically, your key responsibilities include: · Technical and risk validation of operation criteria, documentation like Leg Penetration. · Analysis, Site specific assessment, load plans, sea fastening, maritime operation documentation, and ensuring MWS approval for each operation. · Establishing a World Wide market overview over the most optimal solutions, trends and prices related to Jack-Up operations. Incl. benchmarking and analyzing the Pro & Con’s of using different Jack-Ups, and rolling the solutions out to the rest of the organization. · Creating business cases for operation, mobilization and demobilization of Jack-Ups · Expert support to sales projects by participation in customer meetings and contract negotiations and deliver the technical design input to the Sales Schedules related to overall responsibilities. Overall responsible for the tender phase. · Market and internal demand analysis based on internally wind market models, WTG fault analysis, market capacity, etc. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a technical education at Master’s level and several years of experience as a Naval Architect, Superintendent or other relevant mechanical/constructional positions in the maritime area. By virtue of your background you have gained a strong technical knowledge of managing and operating Jack-Up Vessels (i.e. deck layout, sea fastening design, offshore crane specifications, heavy lifts and lifting tools). · You are well versed in the majority of the standards, rules and regulations applying to operating Jack-Ups (e.g. Bimco Supply Time and Jack-Up UK Renewable Guidelines, ISO 19001-2, BSH Standards and SNAME-5, etc.) · You are experienced in tender management and the creation of tender documentation. · You hold a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as team leader within projects where you have been involved in all phases of the project from the creation of the business case, cost analysis, planning, budgeting and execution. · You are highly structured and demonstrate outstanding analytical skills. · You possess a strategic mindset and a self-driven work style but at the same time you are able to create an inspiring and motivating environment. You navigate easily through different cultures, and you are a dedicated team player. Furthermore, you are fluent in English, both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
