Senior Learning & Development Specialist for our offshore wind farms

Would you like to take up the challenge of developing the competences of our Wind Power Operations organisation? Join us and become Senior Learning & Development Specialist in the Learning & Development department which is part of our ‘Ways of Working’ department. You and your colleagues will be responsible for developing and managing the competence management system, including training, to continuously develop and secure the competences required in our Wind Power Operations organisation. You will eg be responsible for providing a toolbox for training and development, for preparing training methods and setting up local training to support sufficient and optimal training. Learning & Development is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key tasks will be to be responsible for developing and managing our competence management system develop and implement a learning and development strategy for the Operations organisation be responsible for identifying and implementing the training standards needed develop an e-learning standard as well as e-learning packages drive DONG Energy’s input to the Global Wind organisation and other global training standardisation organisations. Moreover, you will efficiently develop an on-boarding programme for +200 employees for the coming year and simultaneously be responsible for the development of the existing 350 employees on our sites in operation. In addition, you will drive negotiations with Wind Turbine suppliers and 3rd party training suppliers for framework agreements regarding training of our employees. Your qualifications and core competences include that you have a master's degree in business or equivalent have extensive experience from a learning & development department have extensive experience with delivering high quality training solutions within the wind power industry or a comparable industry have implemented a competence management system in a similar organisation have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks speak and write English fluently thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with your internal and external stakeholders. Moreover, you have worked in a similar position and would like take up the challenge of progressing your career in a newly formed Learning & Development department. We expect that you have extensive experience with competence development of technical staff and have the ability to develop new training standards and courses.
