About the department

People Analytics and Reporting is a Centre of Excellence in HRIT, supporting both the ongoing digitalisation of our HR organisation as well as our business with valuable insights into their workforce. We have an informal department atmosphere and a team of ambitious, curious and skilled colleagues that complements and challenges each other to do our best. As a Senior People Data Analyst you will be part of a global team consisting of 8 highly skilled colleagues based in Copenhagen (DK) and Princeton (US). You will also collaborate closely with colleagues in India and stakeholders all over the world.

 

The job   

Now is an exciting time to join us on our journey! People Analytics and Reporting are on a true global quest to create the foundation for tomorrow’s Novo Nordisk HR insights, and put the topics on the top of our executives’ agenda. 

To do this successfully we focus on understanding our stakeholders’ business needs within the People Analytics space and are closely aligning our deliverables against their strategy. The target is to develop an integrated global model that can be operated locally. That includes improvement of HR data quality, creating increased self-service opportunities, highly interactive dashboards and utilising predictive modelling to guide decision making. Ultimately our goal is to enable placing the right people in the right position at the right time. 

Your responsibilities will include managing analytics projects such as gender-pay gap, pay-for-performance, forecasting hiring needs and creating interactive dashboards that tells the right story for the business. You will also provide global guidance to internal HR stakeholders on how they can measure their processes in the best possible way.

 

Qualifications

A master’s degree or above is required and you are fluent in written and spoken English.

Your qualifications and experience are both within analytics, storytelling with data and working with BI tools like Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik, R and others. You have at least 3-5 years of experience from a company or consultancy with size and complexity similar to Novo Nordisk - or from international projects as a consultant. 

Your main speciality is utilising your analytical mindset to turn data into insights – ideally you have worked with HR data before, but it is not a must. You are comfortable working with statistics such as regression and time series forecasting and are comfortable working with business intelligence tools and data warehouses. Preferably you also have experience from SAP Business Warehouse. Additionally, to that you are a skilled user of R, SPSS, SAS or similar statistical tools.

Stakeholder management is key to succeed in this position, and you have a proven track record of successfully utilizing data to analyse business outcomes and present it to senior management in a compelling way.
