Alfa Laval Copenhagen A/S, Engineering and Supply in Søborg is looking for a Senior Project Engineer - for international Protein projects Alfa Laval Copenhagen A/S, Engineering & Supply handles projects, designs and delivers components, process modules and complete systems within the Alfa Laval group. We are experiencing an increasing demand for our solutions for the protein industry. For this purpose we are looking for a committed and proactive Project Engineer. The job The Senior Project Engineer will, as part of a project team, deliver solutions for protein plants worldwide. You will be involved in every stage of projects, from initial offer to final delivery to the customers. You will work in an international environment with a large cross-disciplinary interface – both internally and externally. Key tasks . Assist project managers with technical support and other related tasks during project execution . Design of flow charts & P&ID’s based on customer requests . Engineering calculations for selection of process equipment . Specifying items for purchase in ERP system . Responsible for equipment documentation within projects . Participating in quotation tasks . Evaluate/settle specifications and ensure correct documentation for customers . Technical sales support to customers . 15 - 20 travel days per year. Personal profile & qualifications . Engineering degree (Process, Chemical or Mechanical) . Solid and proven experience with process design and engineering within Food & Beverage or Process industries . +7 years experience with dimensioning of vessels, pumps, filters, valves and heat exchangers . Structured personality, with a good sense of time-management . Ability to keep focus and be proactive even in stressful situations . Team-player with an excellent customer orientation .
