Would you like to work with technical challenges, be part of a dynamic group and see your work affecting the integration of Balance of Plant? Join us and become Senior Project Lead (Technical Substation) in our Technical Integrity Management department, where you will be responsible for generating input from Operations & Maintenance to ensure a design that fits operations in the best possible way. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our technical requirements reports for optimising the operation and maintenance strategy for our substations. Technical Integrity Management is part of the Global Operations department in Wind Power, which has 1,400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world's largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our Danish offices in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the greater Copenhagen area. You should, however, expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility You are expected to provide input for requirements regarding the substation's operational effect in close cooperation with the Product Line Engineering department. Your primary tasks will be to secure operations input and strategy by aiming towards our 2020 CoE target. However, the balance of higher CAPEX towards lower OPEX must be considered in the design phase. To ensure structured and well-documented operation, you will work with asset integrity management systems (ISO55001). Design review will form the backbone of your work on optimising technical integrity. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •be involved in the design phase of the substation, as well as capturing lessons learned and implementing the requirement maintenance strategy in a technical memo •provide input for the maintenance strategy, as well as being involved in contractual matters • work on the CoE initiative, and reduce OPEX by providing the best possible operational maintenance strategy •assist in providing technical project management to secure the transfer certificate process for Balance of Plant, including documentation review •look into the potential for extended lifetime of substations, as well as decommissioning substations. Your profile You have a bachelor's or master's degree in construction engineering supplemented with theoretical knowledge of and practical experience with project management as well as practical experience in delivering results. Additionally, you have solid theoretical and practical knowledge of substations onshore and offshore and of turbine foundations. It is a plus if you have experience with construction projects. Ideally, you have experience with constructions in operation and issues related to this. You have good communication skills, and as we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. It is considered an advantage if you speak and write Danish as well. We expect you to be able to pass Offshore GWO training.
