We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join us at our head office Aarhus, although your role will also involve travel to national and international sites. In this role you will report to the Director for Supply Chain Development.

Deliver against our investment
As a Senior Project Manager, your top priority will be to deliver world class leadership on our capital expenditure projects (CAPEX projects). These projects are primarily of a technical nature, for example increasing production capacity or to manufacture new products.

As a senior project manager in AFI Supply Chain Development you take lead of strategic projects with responsibility of scope, costs and time. You lead your projects by involving your team members, steering group and stakeholders, and thereby ensure a professional and efficient project planning and execution. Further, you are involved in early stages of potential business development opportunities, where you support the case through your contribution of professional knowledge of relevant technologies. Through your positive approach you strive to deliver your part in order to support our growth strategy. Specifically, your responsibilities will be:

Lead of medium/large scale capex projects both internally and for our joint venture partners
Lead of strategic whey sourcing projects in corporation with European joint venture partners
Involvement in business case calculations to ensure correct inputs related to CAPEX, OPEX and mass balances
Participation in cross functional technology projects
Involvement in various projects and tasks on relevant positions

Your profile
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with documented experience as lead of large-scale capex projects – and preferably you have a relevant project management certification. You come with relevant education – for instance a Master Degree within Dairy Technology, but candidates with an education within engineering or relevant professional experience are equally welcome. As an independent, self starting person, you will work effectively without close supervision and have the ability to set purpose and vision, sometimes in ambiguity. Business exposure to these projects is high, so you must be able to deliver under pressure and in a fast pace.
