Play an integral part of a competency centre in the LEGO Group You will be part of a global team of project and portfolio managers in the Operations Project Portfolio Management department. We govern, prioritise, manage and execute large strategic projects within Supply Chain. We also function as a competency centre for project management excellence. We are busy and have a strong project portfolio to lead in 2015 and beyond. Thus, you can look forward to: Leading key projects globally with 30+ travelling days a year, primarily to our production sites. Helping build project management competencies throughout Supply Chain. Being a go-to expert and get the team further recognition as the project management competency centre within Supply Chain. Be a go-to project manager within the supply chain As our new Senior Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to handle the execution of a number of projects. They all vary in size and complexity, but are usually large in terms of strategic importance, budget and people involved. In accordance with our values and the DNA of the company culture, you lead the projects and ensure they are executed within the agreed framework and through a transparent approach that follows the LEGO Project Stage/Gate Model. Your ability to professionally execute strategic projects will make you a trusted sparring partner and mentor for one or more project managers in Supply Chain to exchange experiences and support them, e.g. on the LEGO Project Model. In this connection, you also provide input for training material and provide internal training. Strong background in project management You probably hold a higher education, preferably within an engineering area. In addition, you hold a Project Management Certification/Education, i.e PMI, PMP or IPMA at minimum C level, but ideally have B Level experience and skills. You can document extensive experience managing large and complex projects, just as you have experience with large change management projects. You speak and write English fluently. As a person, you have the courage to challenge decisions at all levels of the organisation. You are a top performer with excellent business understanding and the curiosity to look for ways to improve the way we work. With your positive attitude, you can lead through your know-how and competencies - which in turn create trust and make your colleagues regard you as a natural leader.
