Are you detail-oriented and motivated by using your technical knowledge to ensure high quality standards and come up with solutions? And would you like to have a dynamic and fast-paced work day with contacts across the entire Danfoss Power Solution organisation? Then you might be the Quality Engineer we are seeking. You will become part of a team consisting of five skilled and committed colleagues, where you will play an important part in handling claims on Danfoss products. Technical analysis, troubleshooting and optimisation of products With reference to the Quality Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to draw on your technical knowledge and analytical skills when handling customer claims on motors and steering units. You will be the coordinator on a range of products where you will be responsible for the technical analysis and troubleshooting. Your focus will be to analyse the main cause of the problems in our products as well as initiation of solutions for the problems experienced by our customers. You will obtain a profound insight into the products and manage the 8D handling of reported claims. In addition, you will: •Work with troubleshooting and problem solving on products in close dialogue with CTS (our Central Technical Service Centre in Neumünster) •Fill in 8D reports into SAP focusing on the customer •Have an ongoing dialogue with the right Danfoss stakeholders and follow up on agreed actions •Focus on general optimisation and improvement of our products •Participate in and support projects within the Operations department •Implement new processes Relevant technical background and experience with technical analysis and troubleshooting You have a background as an engineer or other relevant technical education and some years’ experience with technical analysis and troubleshooting. It is a plus if you are familiar with Six Sigma (Green Belt), TS16949, SAP and the basic quality tools such as 8D, Fishbone Diagram, and 5Whys. As a person, you are robust and communicative, and you are able to stick to your decisions, even when facing challenges. You are service-minded and have a structured and qualitative approach to solving pivotal problems. You work independently, are disciplined and result-oriented, and you are able to keep a sense of perspective and stay focused when solving multiple tasks simultaneously. Moreover, you are a good business partner who inspires others with your proactive approach. You communicate effortlessly with people at all levels and thrive in a dynamic environment.
