We are part of the Danfoss Group, and our customers are global shipping operators, large shipyards, leading marine engine manufactures and after-treatment solution providers. Our organisation consists of a highly specialised team including R&D, sales and project management, and your core focus will be working with our emission sensors for maritime applications. Supporting customers in selecting the optimum emission sensor set-up Your overall focus will be to undertake application engineering tasks focusing on emission sensors for maritime applications. Here you play a central part in identifying and describing new applications. You will act as interface between customers and product development and support our customers in selecting the optimum emission sensor set-up for their application. As such, you will describe the Value Proposition (VP) to the customer in both technical and economic terms. In your economic description, you always include total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI). Moreover, you write and issue white papers on our different applications. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the customer during tests and evaluate emission sensor test results as well as addressing technical inquiries from our customers. Marine Engineer with marine engine and exhaust systems experience You hold a Master’s degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent, combined with sailing experience and in-depth knowledge of propulsion/auxiliary engines for ships, exhaust systems for ships and abatement systems like SCR and Scrubber. Your technical flair is second to none, and you thrive in an entrepreneurial and informal organisation with great ambitions. As a person, you are proactive, pragmatic and have a customer-centric approach. When it comes to your assignments, you have a make-it-happen attitude and a creative mind-set persistently looking for possibilities to foster and implement new ideas within your domain. You enjoy dealing with many assignments at the same time and set a pride in closing all tasks with a high level of quality. You are structured and have an analytical approach to problem solving, and you pursue targets with persistence and enthusiasm.
